Just FYI:

I live in Long Beach and I have several close friends at CSULB.

"Just because I can get in" is a BAD reason to go there, for the following reasons:

-It is VERY crowded (I believe they're up over 40,000 students, one of the largest ((if not the largest)) CSUs).
-It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to graduate in 4 years because it is so crowded you can't get the classes you need.
-Most of the majors are impacted because it's SO CROWDED so it's hard to get in unless you're in or near LB or a really outstanding student.

Basically, don't go to CSULB unless you have a reason to go there (ie an outstanding program, but those are ridiculously selective) or you don't mind spending 5+ years getting your Bachelor's degree.
