Hello, my name is Anna, and I am a senior in high school. I have already been accepted to the Art Institute of Philadelphia, but I have one concern: roommates. I'm hoping to find at least one person to room with that I know I'll have a very good chance of getting along with. Let me tell you some stuff about me.
First off, I am a Christian. That doesn't mean that I won't room with a non-Christian or have a problem with rooming with someone who doesn't share my beliefs. When I go to college, I don't plan on partying. For me, college will be two different experiences: academic and cultural. I am from a very small town with very narrow views. I'd like to have a wider view while still keeping my morals.
I listen to all types of music but country (all the music I listen to is from the Chrsitian genre), but I listen to stuff on headphones. What other people listen to doesn't really bug me. Just wanted to throw that in there.
I am very interested in reading. I will read almost anything but romance. I am a huge science fiction geek, and my favorite author is Orson Scott Card. I also mess around on my computer a lot, reading news, visiting message boards, and playing a few games. I like hanging out with smaller groups of people. When I am in Philadelphia, I hope to visit a lot of different places.
I am going to the Art Institute of Philadelphia for Interactive Media Design (Bachelor's Degree). That's all there is to say about that.
In a nutshell, I am looking for roommates who want to take their school career seriously while still wanting to have some (legal) fun. To be blunt, I would like to have roommates with "good morals" -- chiefly, I am afraid to have a roommate or roommates who will take boys home and/or party until all hours of the night and wake me up. Mostly, though, I would like my roommate(s) to be nice. I don't really mind if you're a lesbian, hippie, communist, etc. if you're pleasant.
If you're interested, please PM me. We can talk back and forth via PM, e-mail, or instant messenger. I hope I can meet some cool people!
Thanks a ton!
