Hello guys,

I have jus moved from India to California (Bay area).

I have 17 years of education(graduation + Post graduation) from India.
Plus I am Associate Company Secretary from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, which is indian designation for a compliance Officer . I have studied business laws, accountancy and Finance in great depth.

I have a work exp of 3 years in corporate governance, Accounting Finance and taxation.

So now I am looking for a Course that would help me acquire knowledge of US accounting, thus enabling to find a job.

I was further told that my qualification are equivalent to a US MASTERS( though i need to get a formal evaluation done), but I am still in a fix as with my current Indian education I cant Fit into the US finance scene.

Can you please suggest me, that-
1. Should I again pursue masters in accounting?
2. Which schools around BAY AREA, san francisco are good?
3. Or should I jus take up some sundry courses viz. external auditing, financial accounting, to add on my resume.
