Online Festival Seeking Student Films to Compete for $10,000

Haydenfilms.com, the world's premier online film festival, brings the latest in independent film from the most innovative filmmakers in the world. Offering viewers the future of independent film, Haydenfilms.com showcases the latest in animation, documentary, comedy and drama. Check out our award-winning festival shorts and the freshest films from the world's most talented emerging filmmakers.

Submissions are now being accepted for the Second Annual Haydenfilms Online Film Festival, featuring a $10,000 grand prize! Student and independent films of any genre, up to 35 minutes in length, are being accepted for our judging panel to review for the preliminary round. Semi-finalists will have their films showcased at the Haydenfilms Theater ONLINE from August 30 through October 30, 2006. Finalists will receive a Haydenfilms Marketing Kit to promote their films on our website.

The four films with the highest average numbers from valid votes from the public will be recognized at a special award ceremony in New York City at the Director’s Guild Theater. The film with the highest average number of valid votes will then receive the $10,000 grand prize and the other finalists will receive prizes from our generous sponsors including Write Brothers Software, and Getty Images.
