I've looked at some college's admissions requierments and it seems a lot require the applicant to be within the top 50% of their graduating class, have a good grade point average and have, 'decent' SAT/ACT scores. My score on my most recent SAT was a 1660. I know I'm within the top 50% of my class, probably the top 20%, and my grade point average is solid. Would 1660 be a good enough score in most cases?

Guest says he was a terrible student, and I guess I was also. I had ability, I just wasn't very mature then. I didn't take my SAT either. After getting married and having two kids, I went to a community college and got an A/A, but was not financially able to transfer to local university to go further. That was 15 years ago. Now I'm looking to go back. Does no SAT score have anything to do with me at this point as to acceptance for my bachelor's degree? I saw the part about true life experience also, and I'm wondering just how much that matters as well. My major is psyche. Would my true life experience (which I do have) really carry any weight for acceptance? Thanks.
